Boston, MA – Communication via Design (CviaD) is pleased to announce the 50th anniversary of their client Bay Cove Human Services. Bay Cove Human Services is a private, not-for-profit organization that provides a wide variety of services to individuals and their families who face the life-long challenges of developmental disabilities, aging, mental illness and drug and alcohol addiction.
To celebrate and leverage this important anniversary, CviaD has developed an anniversary logo to appear along side Bay Cove’s corporate logo on all collateral published in 2009. The size and prominent location of the number 50 within the logo emphasizes the longevity of their mission, while the circular text emphasizes Bay Cove’s integrated services and dedication to the community.
Over the past five years, CviaD has worked with Bay Cove to enhance and extend their brand image. In 2003, CviaD redesigned Bay Cove’s corporate logo to better reflect their vision, mission, priniciples and expanded services. After the initial logo refresh, CviaD continued to partner with Bay Cove to develop collateral aimed to create awareness, increase corporate and private donations and to launch new service initiatives; initiatives needed to address the growing numbers and increasingly complex needs of people served. Among other marketing collateral, CviaD developed a corporate folder, departmental brochure system, donor report, annual reports, quarterly newsletters, and collateral for annual events. Brand usage guidelines were developed and continue to be updated to ensure coherence and consistency of the brand.
"Our five-year partnership with CviaD has been both highly productive and extremely helpful in achieving our goal of enhanced visibility for Bay Cove. CviaD really understands our services and the messages and image we wish to convey” shares Marion Nierintz, Director of Development Marketing and Public Relations at Bay Cove Human Services.
