Boston, MA – Communication via Design (CviaD), a full service graphic design and marketing company located in Boston's Seaport District, was selected by Ralph Jaccodine Management (RJM) to create a unique CD package for nationally-renowned singer/songwriter Ellis Paul.
The CD, entitled ‘A Summer Night in Georgia’ is a live recording of Ellis performing at the legendary Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, GA. Eddie’s Attic is a popular live music venue for aspiring and accomplished performing songwriters, and has long been one of the cornerstone venues in Ellis Paul’s touring life. “I have more fond memories [at Eddie’s Attic] than anywhere I have played over the years” explains Paul.
Communication via Design worked closely with Paul to give voice to his artistic vision. Closeup photography, warm hues, and a combination of typefaces work together to express sincerity, community and intimacy; themes that are characteristic of Paul’s performances.
“I was presented stunning artwork which stands out among Ellis' previous dozen releases.” said Ralph Jaccodine, President of Black Wolf Records and Ralph Jaccodine Management. “We are really proud of the results and enjoyed the process immensely. The work was quickly executed and there was professionalism each step of the way.”
RJM is a Cambridge-based artist management company. Founded in 1992, RJM has worked with some of the nation's top songwriters such as: Ellis Paul, Antje Duvekot, Flynn, Martin Sexton, Bang Camaro, and The Push Stars.
